Overview

Welcome to the Abi Khalil Lab. We study cardiovascular disease, with a particular focus on the cardiovascular complications of diabetes. We also study cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic (CKM) syndrome, a multisystem disorder that links obesity, type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and cardiovascular disease.
