Gayle Nelson
Gayle Nelson, MPA, BA (Hons)

I am a Clinical Projects Manager in the CRS Core. I am originally from Scotland where I received my BA (Hons) in Primary Care and Public Health and worked as a Registered Nurse Consultant before moving to Northern Ireland and gaining my Master's in Public Health Administration. My role is to provide operational management support to clinical researchers for their studies. I provide direct line management and training for clinical research coordinators and I support the operational, regulatory, quality assurance and financial aspects of studies.


Sherryl Agojo-Payra
Sherryl Agojo-Payra, BSc, MD

I am the CRS Core Laboratory Supervisor. I received my BSc in Psychology and my Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. My role in the CRS Core involves sample planning, laboratory workflow design, sample handling, sample processing and inventory management. I have specific expertise in specimen preparation of banked biosamples for metabolomics, proteomics and genetic profiling.

 


Rhealyn Mendoza
Rhealyn Mendoza, BSc

I am a Research Specialist in the CRS Core at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar providing technical laboratory support for PIs undertaking research studies. My duties include handling, preparation and carrying out laboratory procedures on various biosamples. Prior to joining WCM-Q, I worked as a Quality Assurance Laboratory Analyst in a pharmaceutical company in the Philippines. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Adamson University in Manila, Philippines.

I am the CRS Core Assistant. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management from Cranfield University in the UK and moved on to work in the medical device industry for many years, gaining experience in R&D as a lab technician, clinical research coordinator, and clinical research associate. My role is to facilitate clinical researchers’ compliance with good clinical practices.

I am an Assistant in the CRS Core. Originally from London, I received my BSc in Psychology from the Royal Holloway, University of London. From there I progressed to working at clinical research sites as an assistant psychologist and then eventually as a Senior Research Coordinator of multiple global clinical trials investigating the effects of new drugs in various therapeutic areas. My role in the CRS Core involves collaboratively working to ensure research teams are carrying out research in a standardized way, in line with local and international compliance guidelines
