The
Biomedical Research Training Program is a 10-months training program
for recent university graduates who are interested in pursuing careers
in biomedical research-related fields. The program is open to Qatari nationals and long-term residents of Qatar.
The medical student research award program is designed to give the 1st year medical students at Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar the opportunity to take the lead in securing their own research experiences during the summer break between the 1st and 2nd year of the medical school program.
The Student Research Mentorship Program (SRMP) is an opportunity offered to pre-medical students, which aims to train them in securing labs and writing research proposals, and to give them the tools needed to seek out research opportunities. The SRMP provides funding for yearlong research projects in any of WCM-Q’s research laboratory.
The Research Presentation Award (PA) is an opportunity offered by the research division at WCM-Q for students to present their research paper or research project results at professional meetings, international conferences and workshops. The award allows students the option to attend the events in-person or virtually.
The program is designed to ignite curiosity for science in high school students aged 15 years and above. The program which is open for Qatari nationals and long term residents, gives high school students the platform to ask questions, understand and apply science.
The Young Scientist Journey to Research program-College training at Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar offers ambitious young students aged 18 years and above the opportunity to spend part of their summer learning about biomedical research in a challenging and dynamic environment. The program, which is open to Qatari nationals and long-term residents, is designed to improve students’ engagement with science through exposure.
