Research Contracts & Grants

We are a division of the Research department at WCM-Q and play a role in the pre-award phase of a research application, in the procurement phase of the research, and in sponsor reporting. Our office also vets proposals submitted on behalf of WCM-Q, and submits requests to the sponsor to make changes on the terms or budget of awards. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support to faculty from the moment a possible proposal is identified, to the time the final report is written after the research is completed. We coordinate submission efforts among faculty and between faculty and sponsors, interpret sponsor rules and regulations to the academic community, and ensure that submissions comply with funding agency guidelines and institutional policies of Weill Medicine-Qatar.

Research Regulatory Compliance

The mission of the Offices of Research Regulatory Compliance at WCM-Q is to provide education and support to advance the quality of research conduct by focusing on the regulatory and ethical issues related to human, animal and translational research activities.

We are dedicated to ensuring that research is compliant with university policies, applicable regulations and international standards.
