Class of 2025

Medical Education, along with your Course Directors, have carefully reviewed the curriculum to determine if there are any activities that must be in person. Your Course Directors will inform you, well in advance, of any in person activities.

Please see point 7 (above) for guidelines on entering the WCM-Q building.

Your exams will be administered in person. Please note that, should the need arise, your examinations may move online. Your exam will be proctored through a secure application called Examsoft, on a laptop. You will be asked to join a Zoom call on a second device, through which you will be proctored during your examination. You will be sent instructions on how to set up the second device.

Since your exams are going to be administered in person, your internet connection will be stable. In the event that your exams are moved online, Examsoft is set up so that it only requires an internet connection to download the examination and to submit it once complete. An internet connection is not required to complete the examination once it has been downloaded. However, if that occurs, you would be disconnected from Zoom, at which point one of the proctors would call you to make contact.

When taking your exam in person, please raise your hand and a proctor will escort you out of the lecture hall. If your exam is administered remotely, you cannot take a washroom break due to the secure nature of your remote examination.

If your exam is administered remotely, it will be recorded. We refer back to the video if there is a case of academic misconduct. Therefore, your video and sound must be on for the duration of your examination.

• If you have a connection issue on the date of your examination, please call your proctor (who will share their information with you in advance of your examination).

• You will be expected to sign-in for live sessions.
• You are expected to have your Camera on at all times during the live sessions.
• You will be expected to participate in your sessions.
