The Office of Curriculum Support (OCS) serves as the primary curriculum resource for the foundational sciences courses, the clinical courses/clerkships, and the areas of concentration curriculum in the medical education program.
OCS staff members work collaboratively with the curriculum deans, course/clerkship directors, unit leaders, library, ITS and other staff, to provide students with all of the necessary support and resources needed to succeed. This includes working in liaison with the Office of Curriculum and Educational Development at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), and other affiliated healthcare sites in Qatar to plan and deliver the curriculum.
In addition to the provision of course/clerkship resources, OCS is also responsible for all administrative aspects of exams as well as collating student assessment data. OCS also assists in planning for and preparing students for their clinical work at affiliated healthcare sites and WCM in New York City, and Weill Bugando Medical College in Tanzania.
