Global Health Service Learning Program
The Institute for Population Health will select up to 8 first year pre-medical students from WCM-Q for a global health service learning experience of 2 weeks at a medical setting in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Learning objectives:
- Examine the healthcare system in a lower middle-income country
- Develop medical knowledge commensurate with their level of experience and education
- Identify the challenges associated while working with special needs children
- Demonstrate an understanding of a new culture and working environment
