Lifestyle Medicine Board Certification Exam

The International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM) sets and maintains global standards for assessment and credentialing of physicians and other health professionals in Lifestyle Medicine (LM). Becoming board certified in LM signifies specialized knowledge in the practice of evidence-based LM and distinguishes a health professional as having achieved competency in LM.

IPH supports the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine to host the board certification exam for healthcare professionals in Qatar. Please review the exam details before you register for the exam.

 

Deadline for exam registration

Qatar Residents: Sunday, October 20, 2024 (Please email iph@qatar-med.cornell.edu for the registration link)

Non-Qatar Residents (Prometric Examinees): Monday, September 30, 2024


Examinees

Qatar Residents: The exam will be held at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 8.30 am – 1.00 pm

Non-Qatar Residents: The exam will be held at a Prometric testing center closest to you, on a date of your choice between November 23 to December 8, 2024. Once you have registered for the exam, you will receive an invite from Prometric to reserve a seat at one of their sites.

Non-Qatar Residents (Prometric Examinees): October 23, 2024

 

IBLM Fees

Please note that IBLM has split the world into three economic tiers and that exam pricing depends on where you reside/live. The IBLM exam pricing consists of two components (1) Registration fee (2) Certification fee

Please review the refund policy, applicable to your region, before completing the registration & payment. Registration fee at any time will be non-refundable. If you need any clarification, please email iph@qatar-med.cornell.edu.

Pricing 

MDs and DOs:

  • Non-refundable registration fee from $99 to $299
  • Certification/exam fee $999-$1,499

PhD and Masters Level Health Professionals:

  • Non-refundable registration fee from $49 to $199
  • Certification/exam fee from $799 to $1,299

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Requests for exam registration cancellation should be sent to iph@qatar-med.cornell.edu. Exam registration fee at any time will be non-refundable. Only the certification/exam fee is applicable.

    Certificate in Lifestyle Medicine

    Completion of the Certificate in Lifestyle Medicine course satisfies the prerequisite of 30 hours of online CME & 20 hours of in person CME for the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine Exam.
