#Food Safety Concerns Follow simple tips to practice food safety:

  • Wash hands and fresh produce thoroughly
  • Separate raw meat, poultry, and seafood, from ready-to-eat foods
  • Cook to proper temperatures (use a food thermometer if possible)
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces 
  • Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours
  • And most importantly - enjoy healthful food choices and have fun in the kitchen!

#Food Deliveries Prepare all meals at home if possible. If you need to order through a home delivery service, make sure to:

  • Limit in-person contact if possible. Ask for the delivery to be left in a safe spot outside your house
  • Pay online or on the phone if possible
  • Stay at least 2 meters away from the delivery person
  • Dispose of packaging in a safe manner and clean/disinfect surfaces
  • Wash your hand with soap and water or use a hand sanitize
