Objectives:

  1. Recognize psychological issues related to the nature of the pandemic itself
  2. Appreciate psychological effects of measures taken to control the pandemic
  3. Understand the impact of the pandemic on caregivers

 

Criteria for the final evaluation:  A final 1500 words essay will be required that will demonstrate that the student:

  1.  Has gained familiarity with the psychological impact of a pandemic and the sudden change of life circumstances for the individual and society.
  2. Recognizes as a future caregiver the psychological impact of pandemics on the multiple roles that a caregiver is entrusted with.
