This is an online two-week elective that aims at addressing medical students’ academic challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic by identifying concerns, discussing and proposing solutions.

Objectives:

1. Identification of academic concerns students are facing with the current pandemic
2. Discussion of alternative means of coping with these concerns
3. Reflections on the beneficence the proposed solutions may have

Evaluation:

1. Short essay (500 word) identifying the top 3 academic concerns each student is facing walking into the elective.
2. Active participation and contribution during mid-elective virtual group discussion.
3. Implementation of the proposed solutions for a week. This will be monitored by participating in a Canvas discussion page.
4. Reflections on the benefits of the solutions post-adaptation.
