Description
|
This elective is designed to introduce students to diagnosis, natural history, biology and medical treatment of solid tumors in adult patients. Students will participate in ambulatory clinics at the National center for cancer care and research at Hamad Medical Corporation. Students are expected to attend Oncology Clinic (Breast, GI, genitourinary, thoracic, and neuro-oncology sub-specialties), and will have an opportunity to attend rounds on the inpatient oncology services. Students will work with oncology fellows and senior attending physicians. Students will also attend and participate in regularly scheduled rounds, lectures and conferences in the Division.
