Description

The fourth year perinatal rotation is designed to give more in-depth knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine. The student will follow antepartum patients & high risk antenatal patients. They will learn & participate in fetal screening, prenatal diagnostic procedures and counseling. The student will attend session of perinatal counseling by a multi diagnostic team of Obstetrician, Neonatologist & Geneticist and attend weekly genetic counseling session in the unit. A presentation on a specific subject of interest to the student is required.
