Description

Elective and Emergency general pediatrics surgery. The emphasis is on hands-on integration into HMC pediatric surgical teams. The student will work closely with the attending and resident staffs. There are many opportunities for one-on-one teaching. Students at the end of the elective will be well versed in congenital acquired surgical anomalies of pediatric/neonatal patients. The elective may involve evening or night calls.
