|
The Ministry of Interior (MOI) elective is a 2-week elective that introduces students to the major concepts of general Forensic Medicine from a local and global perspective. The students will be able to:
- Detect and differentiate between medicolegal and other aspects of Forensic Medicine.
- Differentiate between notification and certificate of death.
- The student will be introduced to mortuaries, virtual PMCT(Post Mortem Computer Tomography), and basic methods of external examination and autopsy .
- The student will be able to dentify and detect various injuries during the elective.
The student’s end of elective evaluation will be based on:
- Attendance, participation in seminars, clinical discussion (mortuary) and a written exam.
