The CPD WCM-Q Biostatistics series has been created to support healthcare professionals (HCP) to optimize patient care delivery by improving their understanding of statistical concepts with the aim of enhancing both their research and their interpretation of published literature and/or the results of data analyses. Our rich offer of webinars and workshops fills the gaps identified by the literature, which highlights a need to create opportunities for HCPs to continuously refresh and improve their knowledge of biostatistics. The need for the series is further supported by participant feedback from past workshops and training sessions organized by the CPD division of WCM-Q. The series also offers a certificate in the analysis of medical data, whereby participants attend three full-day workshops and take an assessment after each one to qualify for the certificate. The workshops are titled: Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced Biostatistics for Health Care Professionals.
