Student Affairs and Club Activities – March
Community Virtual Meet, a student meet-up initiative.
In March, student clubs and organizations at WCM-Q participated in virtual activities with support from the Division of Student Affairs.
The Medical Student Executive Council-Qatar (MSEC-Q) held elections to select its new leadership team for the 2026-27 academic year. Third-year medical students Reem Al-Janahi and Degiri Kalana Lasanga Senevirathne will serve as MSEC-Q president and vice president, respectively. Class representatives will be announced at a later date.
The Student Affairs Health and Wellness Team, hosted the Community Virtual Meet, a student meet-up aimed at supporting students’ wellbeing during the current geopolitical situation. The session provided a safe and supportive online space where students participated in activities, learned wellbeing strategies, and shared their thoughts and concerns. The aim of the initiative was to help students connect with one another, reduce stress, and promote emotional wellbeing during this challenging time.
