This elective provides the student with exposure to the general medicine continuity care clinic. This experience emulates the office practice of medicine. Additionally, the student will have the opportunity to learn out-patient aspects of other disciplines, i.e., office gynecology, dermatology, medical ophthalmology and other medical sub-specialties, tailored to the student's interest and educational needs.
The function will be daily rounds with the consultants and specialist, presentation and attendance in the morning reports and 11-12 Monday and Wednesday departmental activities.
