Profile

Dr. Aleksić holds a PhD in Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow State University of Technology (STANKIN) in Russia. Prior to WCM-Q, he served as a research assistant at the Institute of Physics Belgrade in Serbia and as a research associate in physics at Texas A&M University at Qatar.

Dr. Aleksić joined WCM-Q in 2015 and since then he has been working with students, within different courses, providing them with strong fundamentals of physics that are essential for their future medical education. He has contributed to the development of the physics courses taught in the pre-medical education curriculum.

His research interests lie at the intersection of nonlinear and computational physics, with a specific focus on nonlinear optics, dissipative structures, numerical simulations, and high-performance computing. Looking ahead, he is planning to establish collaborative research initiatives that integrate advancements in physics with medical research.
