Medical Career Seminar
The Medical Career Seminar is a weekly activity for the Foundation class. Each weekly session is facilitated by guest speakers from WCM-Q and community partners to provide students with opportunities to learn more and ask questions about the practice of medicine. The main purpose of the Medical Career Seminar Series is to motivate students through learning about practitioners’ careers and experiences.
Pre-medical-Foundation and Alumni Mentorship Program
The program is designed to connect students with alumni physicians practicing in specialties of interest to students after graduation. In this program, students are connected with alumni physicians and meet with them frequently for mentoring sessions. Mentees have the opportunity to gain valuable advice on medical school from experienced alumni, appreciate the importance of professionalism, and participate in early career exploration.
