Allan Carrington will discuss the design of engaging online and hybrid curricula for successful learning outcomes. He will also introduce the audience to his Padagogy Wheel for selecting the best tools for intended learning goals.  

This workshop explores the challenges that arose following the switch to e-learning in Qatar’s higher education institutes, and provides recommendations for learners to become more motivated and actively engaged in online settings.

Results from a nation-wide multi-university research project on online learning in Qatar in 2020-2023 will be presented.

Faculty will share their experiences in online teaching and engage in reflective and interactive activities to gain knowledge and skills in virtual teaching environments. 

Mr. Aidarus will present his multi-year research on blended learning in Qatar and suggest best practices.
