Afreena Niaz

Afreena Niaz joins the project “Enhancing Online Student Engagement in the State of Qatar” as a research assistant. She is a senior BFA student at VCUarts in Qatar studying Graphic Design. Afreena has participated in a variety of extracurricular and academic activities, making sure to develop herself as a multidisciplinary designer in every way. She is also expected to graduate with honors. Her graphic design work places a strong emphasis on creating for change, bringing attention to new but traditional and cultural methods, and figuring out how to convey and distribute knowledge about current issues. This spurred enthusiasm for taking part in the current study as well. She has conducted focus groups and curated data, highlighting key themes from the findings through multiple tools.
