Lolwa Al Thani

Lolwa Al Thani joins the project “Enhancing Online Student Engagement in the State of Qatar”  as a research assistant and focus group leader. She is currently a sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar studying Interior Design. Lolwa works as part of the admissions team for Virginia commonwealth university. She has participated in numerous painting contests sponsored by the Katara Cultural Village where she has exhibited her art works. Lolwa is a member of the Qatar Fine Arts association and a member of the VCUQ’s Diversity and Inclusion. She studied interior design software at New York School of Interior Design. She has extensively traveled to Europe and the United States, visiting art museums whenever possible.
