MSEC-Q stands for the Medical Student Executive Council - Qatar. The council is comprised of two representatives from the foundation class and four representatives from each of the next six pre-medical and medical classes, plus a president and a vice-president (a total of 28 elected members). MSEC-Q plays a vital role in supporting and advocating for WCM-Q students. The council works closely with the Office of Student Affairs, the Divisions of Medical Education and Pre-Medical Education and other university divisions to discuss issues and implement solutions to any concerns the student body may have.
At a social level, MSEC-Q organizes a variety of annual events that celebrates the culture and diversity of the WCM-Q community such as International Night, Faculty Student Majlis, Town Hall Meeting, Club Fest, Basant and the Med Gala.
