Myopathies in pediatrics require comprehensive assessment of the affected child. One of this is muscles signal changes and atrophic changes which is easily detected by MRI screening. This does not require full study but only limited study of the whole body; Hence, integration of battery of investigation including MRI imaging, laboratory and clinical assessment could be helpful with diagnosis and follow up.
