Omar Moawyah Osman Mohammed, MD, FCHR
Dr. Omar Moawayh Osman Mohammed received his MBBCh from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in 1988, before going on to earn an MSc and then an MD in radiodiagnosis from the same institution in 1993 and 1999, respectively.
Having completed a rotating internship in the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University in 1990, he then joined the faculty’s radiodiagnosis residency program (1990-93) and subsequently served as Assistant Lecturer of Radiodiagnosis (1994-2000), before becoming Lecturer in Radiodiagnosis (2000-2005) and then Acting Manager of the Internal Medicine X- Ray Unit and the Emergency Radiology Unit (2005-2011).
In 2005, Dr. Mohammed was made Associate Professor of Radiodiagnosis at Cairo University Faculty of Medicine, a position he held until 2011, when he became Professor of Radiodiagnosis. In 2012 he joined Hamad Medical Corporation as a Senior Consultant at Hamad General Hospital, which is his current position.
Dr. Mohammed became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, London, in 2010.
