Noha A. Yousri, PhD
Noha A. Yousri has joined the Bioinformatics Core in Weill Cornell Medicine- Qatar (WCM-Q)in 2012. She has joined the department of Genetic Medicine in 2017, where she is currently anAssistant Professor of Research. She has lead the computational analysis for several associationstudies involving genomics, metabolomics, proteomics and epigenetics data. She is a lead PI oftwo QNRF funded projects (PPM2 and NPRP-11) to study epigenetics and integrated large scaleomics data for T2D and obesity using Qatar Genome Project data. She is also a Co-PI on QNRFfunded projects that study rare diseases, chronic inflammation diseases, and gut microbiome. Sheis also a Co-PI on other locally and externally funded research projects. Dr Yousri comes from aComputer Engineering background, with a specialization in machine learning techniques. She isalso affiliated with Alexandria University as an Associate Professor of Computer and SystemsEngineering. She has authored and co-authored more than 45 peer reviewed journal andconference publications in the fields of bioinformatics, machine learning and biological/medicalsciences
