Prior to entering the neuromuscular rare disease space, Dr. Dziewczapolski was a leading neuroscientist for the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. He now works to bring discovery and translational research into the neuromuscular disorders by serving as a liaison for researchers, clinicians, affected individuals and their families, and industry stakeholders. His goal is to widen the spectrum of treatments, to improve quality of life, and to ultimately find cures for the many subtypes of Congenital Muscular Disease.
