Khalid Awad Sidahmed Mohamed, MD
Dr. Khalid Awad Mohamed is senior consultant in pediatric neurology and assistant professor of pediatrics; he was the lead clinician for clinical governance at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool from 2004 to 2006. He is an educator with postgraduate diploma in medical education and is the current pediatric neurology fellowship director at HMC. He developed further interest in quality and has been coach and core faculty in the CCITP and developed improvement projects focused on no show reduction and referral management in outpatients, he is a certified level 1 coach with the microsystem academy at the Dartmouth Institute, in NH, USA; and he is an IHI international quality fellow. He has authored more than 20 peer reviewed articles and has presented in the Middle East forum and ISqua meetings. His main area of interest in quality is access to care and Lean principles as well as coaching for improvement.
