Anatomy (dissection) in Islamic medicine was an indivisible unit.
It was an introduction to all branches of medicine. In addition, the study of the dissection of the human body was as interesting to mystics, theologians, and philosophers as it was to physicians. However, the sanctity of autopsy has been debated by some jurists for centuries, which was apparently considered a violation of God's honor honorable creature. There was virtually no autopsy in the Islamic world, and Muslims
They relied heavily on the description of Galen. But the main deviation of the Muslims from the description of Galen was after the small circulation of blood was discovered by Ibn Nafis.
According to a kind of Islamic worldview that is rooted in the Avestan worldview (ancient Iran), the study and knowledge of the human body as a prelude to knowing the universe and then God was considered, based on this view, knowing the human body as (minor world) And knowing the earth and the sky as the "greatest world" is a precondition for knowing God.
