Building Bridges to Higher Education: Advancing STEM Readiness and Global Competence

Co-organized by Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar with Qatar Foundation’s Academic Bridge Program, the Building Bridges to Higher Education Forum is a one-day multiversity initiative that brings together secondary school teachers, academic advisors, and curriculum specialists to explore innovative strategies for fostering student interest in STEM fields and health-related professions. Through collaborative panels, the forum aims to bridge the gap between secondary and higher education, creating a seamless transition for aspiring STEM and medical students. Participants will gain insights into preparatory programs, university expectations, and practical approaches to supporting student readiness. By connecting educators, counselors, and institutional leaders, this event serves as a platform for building partnerships that inspire future-ready learners and strengthen the pipeline to health careers.
