PROFILE

Dr. Krystyna Golkowska is a Senior Lecturer in the Pre-medical Program. Before joining the WCMC-Q, she taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Ithaca College and Cornell University. At Ithaca College she taught freshman composition in the Writing Department. At Cornell she worked for many years in the Department of Modern Languages, the International TA Development Program, and the School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions. In addition to teaching, her responsibilities included assessment, curriculum development, TA supervision, and running the IEP Writing Workshop.

Dr. Golkowska's publications reflect her interest in English literature, language acquisition, sociolinguistics, and cultural studies.
