Raji Anand, BBA, BSc
Ms. Raji Anand serves as Administration Manager for the Institute for Population Health (IPH) at Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar (WCM-Q).
Ms. Anand brings with her over 20 years of experience having worked in a variety of roles. In her early career, she worked in hospitality (Kempinski hotels) in Front Office Management and Corporate Office Administration. Following, she worked for an oil and gas (Qatargas Operating Company) in public relations and events. For IPH, her responsibilities include planning and organizing symposia, workshops and activities; generating reports, business plans and communication; standard operating procedures and workflow; webpage content management and financial and other operations.
Ms. Anand has certifications in Critical Thinking: Judgment and Decision Making in the Information Age, Healthcare Leadership, Executive Leadership, Project Management: Competencies and Structure, Harold D Croft Leadership Program, Business Writing and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People for Managers. Ms. Anand has served on the Program Advisory Committee, International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) World Conference 2016 as well as on the Organizing Committee and Scientific Planning Committee of various IPH symposia and courses. Ms. Anand won WCM-Q’s ‘Star of the Year’ Award in October 2016.
Ms. Anand has Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition. She is currently pursuing a MBA with Fox School of Business at Temple University, USA.
