Stephan Michalik, PhD
Stephan Michalik is currently a senior scientist in the Department of Functional Genomics at The Center for Functional Genomcis of Microbes (C_FunGene) at University Medicine Greifswald. He received his diploma in biology with a focus on molecular biology in 2006 and his PhD from the University of Greifswald in 2012. Since 2012 he has been active in many -omics areas such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and immunoproteomics. Besides wet lab activities, he also focuses on data science and coding, which he also teaches in data science courses. His experience and expertise in wet lab and dry lab enables him to contribute with the generation of complete end-to-end solutions in different scientific cooperation projects
