Stefanie Hauck, PhD
Stefanie Hauck graduated in biology and started mass spectrometry-based proteome profiling early in her career in a neuroscience context. She moved to a broader understanding of complex diseases by identification of protein-centric systems perturbations, as well as by defining protein and peptide signatures indicative for disease progression and prediction. Since 2016 she has been the head of the protein science research unit and the proteomics core facility at Helmholtz Munich. She also started the first certified Olink Core lab in Germany in 2018. Since 2020 she has headed the metabolomics and proteomics core at Helmholtz Munich and - also in 2020 - she integrated the first Olink Explore Platform in the DACH region. She has been an executive board member of the German Proteomics Society since 2013 and was recently elected into the board of directors of the society.
