Karsten Suhre, PhD
Dr. Karsten Suhre joined Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) in March 2011 as Professor of Physiology and Biophysics and Director of the Bioinformatics Core. He also serves as Assistant Dean for Intercampus Research Relationships. Dr. Suhre’s research interests focus on the role of deep molecular phenotypes as intermediate traits to disease. He investigates large multiomics datasets from clinical and population-based studies, and occasionally also generates his own data. His current focus is on genome-wide and phenome-wide association studies with metabolomics and proteomics, a field in which he published several landmark papers (read more here: http://suhre.fr).
