Dr. Samah Chiry, is a senior family medicine consultant with a strong academic foundation and extensive clinical expertise of more than 12 years in Canadian healthcare, practicing in various settings, including the emergency department, hospitals, and clinics. Currently serving as a senior consultant at The View Hospital in Doha and a clinical assistant professor at Qatar University’s College of Medicine, her practice focuses on comprehensive family medicine, delivering care to patients of all ages, with particular attention to preventive health, chronic disease management, women’s and men’s health, lifestyle modifications, and obesity.

At McGill University, where she has served as faculty lecturer since 2012, Dr. Chiry’s academic role allows her to actively contribute to shaping future family physicians. She has guided countless residents and medical students, fostering their clinical reasoning and hands-on skills in both outpatient and hospital settings. Holding a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Chiry also brings valuable experience as a medical reviewer.
