Raji Anand serves as Administration Manager for the Institute for Population Health (IPH) at Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar (WCM-Q).

She brings with her over 20 years of experience having worked in a variety of roles. In her early career she worked in the hotel industry for Kempinski Hotels in front office management and corporate office administration. Following that, she worked in the oil and gas sector for Qatargas Operating Company in public relations and events.

For IPH, her responsibilities include planning and organizing locally and internationally accredited Continuing Medical Education symposia, workshops and activities; planning and organizing IPH community outreach activities; Global Health Service Learning Program management and managing placements logistics of international senior medical students via the Global Educational Exchange in Medicine and the Health Professions (GEMx); generating reports, business plans and communication; standard operating procedures and workflow; webpage content management and financial and other operations.

Raji has certifications in Digital Marketing, Critical Thinking: Judgment and Decision Making in the Information Age, Healthcare Leadership, Executive Leadership and Project Management: Competencies and Structure. Raji has served on the Program Advisory Committee, International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) World Conference 2016 as well as on the Organizing Committee and Scientific Planning Committee of various IPH symposia and courses. Raji won WCM-Q’s ‘Star of the Year’ Award in October 2016.

Raji has a Master's in Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, USA and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition.
