Diana Maddah
Dr. Diana Maddah is an Assistant Professor at Qatar University, College of Health Sciences, Public Health Department and a Senior Health Advisor Research and Risk Communication and Community Engagement with UK-Med. She earned her PhD from the Lebanese University in a joint program with the American University of Beirut. With over 12 years of experience in the humanitarian field, she has been involved in public health preparedness and response during disasters through her role with the UK-Med Emergency Medical Team. As an academician, Dr. Maddah focuses on teaching and research in health promotion, community health, and public health in humanitarian settings. She designs, implements, and evaluates public health projects targeting vulnerable groups. Additionally, Dr. Maddah is an international trainer on gender equity, having received her certification from George Washington University.
