Today’s Health Information Challenges
Health information systems are the foundation of effective healthcare delivery, public health supervision, trusted consumer information, and emergency health crises. The rapid increase in research output, healthcare misinformation, and the rise of AI within healthcare have underscored the urgent need for health information ecosystems to not only be efficient, but resilient. How do we ensure medical students are prepared to navigate this ecosystem? How can health information merge with traditional and new technologies to dispense the most trusted information? Which tools are most effective in helping health professionals meet the most pressing needs in our communities?
