Aisha Naeem
Dr. Aisha Naeem holds a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and completed postdoctoral training at Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC), where she also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Currently, she is an Ethical Compliance and Oversight Specialist at Qatar University, and had served as a Research Policy Specialist at the Ministry of Public Health. In her recent roles, Dr. Naeem has been instrumental in establishing national research and ethics committees and in developing research policies and guidelines that adhere to international standards. A central focus of her work is raising ethical awareness across the Qatar University community through various platforms. As a scientist, Dr. Naeem’s research interests encompass health safety, clinical trial, and genomics guidelines, with a focus on ethical considerations in these areas. Her research integrates innovative approaches in cellular reprogramming, genomics, and transcriptomics to advance personalized cancer therapies. With her strong scientific and policy background, Dr. Naeem brings extensive expertise to advance ethical research practices and drive policy innovation.
