Mrs. Heba Ali Nassar

Mrs. Heba Ali Nassar is the Head of Health Education Department in Qatar Cancer Society since 2013, and worked also as a lecturer in the Faculty of Nursing at the Applied Science University in Jordan for 3 years. She also worked as Clinical Instructor at the Faculty of Nursing in Jordan University for 2 years, and as Staff Nurse Preceptor in the bone marrow unit at King Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan for 4 years. She completed her bachelor's degree in Nursing from Jordan University in 2004, and master’s degree in critical care nursing from the same institution in Jordan in 2007. Recently she assisted in the publication of the cancer survivor’s booklet Stories of Hope. She is also licensed as an instructional designer certified as TOT from the Canadian Global Center, with certificates of TOT in Disaster Management, Chemotherapy Administration and Bone Marrow Transplant. Heba Nassar lives in Doha, Qatar. As an educator her goal is to participate in advancing the excellence in teaching and research and community health service at the national and international level.
