Sinéad O’Rourke, MSc, BSc
Ms. Sinéad O’Rourke, MSc, BSc is the Content Development Specialist in the Distributed eLibrary at Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar (WCMQ). In this role, her focus is on supporting the faculty, researchers and staff at WCMQ in their scholarly publishing, communication and outreach efforts. Previously she worked in Ireland and the Middle East as Communications Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically for Roche, in which she led communications and policy advocacy campaigns, often in close collaboration with patient groups, to deliver disease awareness, patient education, increased patient involvement in clinical trials and health technology assessment, and policy change. Ms. O’Rourke also held editing roles in the medical publishing industry before joining Roche. She holds a Master’s in Science Communication from Dublin City University in Ireland and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from University College Dublin.
