Rawan Al Saad, PhD
Dr. Rawan AlSaad is a postdoctoral associate at the AI Center for Precision Health of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q). With more 15 years of experience at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and healthcare, she specializes in leveraging AI to develop solutions for critical clinical applications.
At WCM-Q, Dr. AlSaad is currently leading several research projects focused on applications of AI in the sphere of women’s health. She has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, serving as the lead author on many.
Before joining WCM-Q, Dr. AlSaad worked as a senior research specialist in the Research Division of Sidra Medicine from 2013 to 2021 and as a senior applications specialist at Qatar Science and Technology Park from 2009 to 2013. She also served as a faculty member at the University of Doha for Science and Technology from 2021 to 2023. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in artificial intelligence for clinical applications.
