Ryad Ghanam

Ryad Ghanam is a Professor of Mathematics at Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar. He joint VCUQ after an extensive teaching experience in the United States In addition to maintaining an interactive teaching style, he is heavily involved in research in the area of Lie algebras and their applications in differential equations. Over the past five years, he has been expanding his area of research and working on applied math problems that involve modeling and parameter estimation using applied statistical techniques. Dr. Ghanam has been selected to be a Fellow Professor of the Institution of Mathematics and Its Application in the U.K. Dr. Ghanam is currently supervising many Ph.D. students at the VCU Richmond campus. Most recently, Dr. Ghanam established the Mathematical Data Science Lab at VCU Qatar and collaboration on multiple projects with researchers inside and outside Qatar.
