Dr. Abraham is assistant professor of clinical population health sciences and assistant director of the Institute of Population Health (IPH) at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar. He has more than 10 years of experience in public health and is responsible for managing research and community programs, particularly those promoting health awareness and disease prevention in the State of Qatar. His research interests include environmental health and its impact on the community, non-communicable diseases, and lifestyle medicine. 

Dr. Abraham has participated as a member of several external and internal committees, including the Qatar Cancer Prevention Committee, Ministry of Public Health; and the National Advisory Committee for Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s MSc in global public health policy. He has taught healthcare professionals in ACCME/DHP accredited continuous professional development activities and serves as co-course director for one of them: Introduction to Systematic Review & Meta-analysis: Principles & Practice. He has presented his work both locally and internationally.

Dr. Abraham is an alumnus of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, having obtained his MD in 2011. He completed his Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, USA in December 2018. He is an inductee of the Alpha Chapter of the Delta Omega Public Health Honorary Society.
