The Organizing Committee of the Conference on Climate, Health, and Environment Nexus (CHE2025) invites abstract submissions for poster presentations related to climate change, environmental exposures, and health outcomes in the MENA region.
Abstracts should present innovative research or insights addressing the intersection of environmental and health challenges. We welcome submissions on topics including, but not limited to:
✅ Climate change and non-communicable diseases
✅ Air pollution and cardiometabolic health
✅ Environmental determinants of infectious diseases
✅ Extreme weather events and health impacts
✅ Sustainable solutions for environmental health challenges
✅ Urbanization, water security, and health equity
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and must align with the conference theme. Each participant may submit and present only one abstract as the primary author. Participants may co-author additional abstracts but cannot serve as the submitting and presenting author for multiple posters. The submitting author is responsible for informing all co-authors. Notification of acceptance will be sent via email within two weeks of the submission deadline.
Abstract Requirements
Title: Limited to 15 words, descriptive, with acronyms spelled out. No ending punctuation or quotation marks.
Length: 250–300 words (abstract only, excluding the title).
Format: Background / Materials and Methods / Results / Conclusions.

Submission Deadline: July 1, 2025.
All accepted poster presenters must register and pay by September 30, 2025.
Detailed poster presentation instructions will be provided upon notification of acceptance.

CHE2025 is a two-day conference held on October 25–26, 2025, in Doha, Qatar. The event brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers to explore evidence-based solutions to climate-driven health challenges.
Low and Middle-Income Country Awards (LMICA)
We are pleased to announce announce the Low and Middle-Income Country Awards (LMICA) for CHE2025. Attendees from low and middle-income countries are eligible to apply for a Travel Award to support their attendance at the conference. Two recipients will be selected based on abstract assessment. For these winners, airfare will be provided along with complimentary conference registration to offset travel expenses. The notification date for award recipients will be communicated soon.
Eligibility for LMICA applicants:
- Current residence and study/work in a low-income and middle-income country (please view here).
- Submission of an abstract for poster presentation with the LMICA Travel Award option selected.
