Cathleen de Groot
Cathleen de Groot is the Manager, User Services in the Distributed eLibrary at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q). She is most interested in scholarly communications, evidence synthesis, integrating information skills into the curriculum, and improving user experience. Working with WCM-Q has allowed her to see the development of medical students throughout their academic progress and areas where librarians can help to improve patient experience. Her various roles have included working at College of the North Atlantic – Qatar and the Canadian federal government. She holds a Masters in Library and Information Studies from McGill University, Montréal, Canada, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations, and Anthropology from University of Toronto, Canada.
