Catherine Richmond is an Information Specialist in the NIHR Innovation Observatory and the Evidence Synthesis group within the Population Health Sciences Institute at Newcastle University in the north east of England.  She has extensive experience in health information from previous roles in health and academic libraries, and is also an experienced therapy radiographer.  Her current role as a methodologist involves participating in a wide range of research projects, particularly in the public health space.  Her personal research interests focus on improving information retrieval and selection processes to facilitate efficient and effective evidence synthesis.
