Daniel Rainkie, B.Sc(Hons), B.Sc(Pharm), ACPR, PharmD
Dr. Daniel Rainkie joined the Qatar University College of Pharmacy in 2015 as a clinical lecturer and is a clinical pharmacy specialist with the Advanced Heart Failure clinic at Heart Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation. Daniel completed his B.Sc.(Pharm) from the University of British Columbia in 2012, his pediatrics pharmacy residency (ACPR) with the Fraser Health Authority (Canada) in 2013 and his Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of British Columbia in 2015. Daniel was a neonatal intensive care pharmacist before joining Qatar University.
Within the College of Pharmacy, Daniel is actively engaged with the simulation and practice skills courses, including OSCE development. Daniel is the Assessment Coordinator and College of Pharmacy Interprofessional Committee chair and contributes to the development and implementation of simulation and non-simulation assessments. He is the course coordinator for the undergraduate evidence-based medicine series and chair of the evidence-based medicine committee.
Daniel’s research interests include education techniques, assessment, OSCE and evidence-based medicine.
